HOTEL RWANDA isn't even nominated for best picture....

I would like to see FINDING NEVERLAND win...although it's not the best picture of the year, it's my favorite. But being realistic, MILLION DOLLAR BABY. I hated THE AVIATOR and RAY, and don't think SIDEWAYS is best picture material.

That doesn't bother me - stereotypes can be funny, even though they're incorrect. What gets me is that I know that if a white comedian said something about blacks, he'd be the first to cry foul.

hey, who cares...i mean lets face it ALOT of gays do watch the tony's...but he was wrong to say that ONLY gays watch it.But, i mean theres not a joke in this world that doesn't make fun of a SOMETHING.Chris Rock is one of the funniest men ever. and everyone make stereotypes sometimes.

You have absolutely every right to get upset about that kind of stuff. I'm white so no I don't know what it is like, however, I'm old enough to have been around and seen a lot of intolerance/racism. What scares me the most is that we don't teach/learn tolerance. I grew up in the 70's and I remember the Civil Rights Movement. And it's not over people.
People who joke about hate don't necessary do it because they are racist, but because they are either too young to know better, or too ignorant, That is very sad. I like Chris Rock, and think that his comments tend to have a little bit of an admonishment flair to them. You kind of have to read between the lines with him.
