Wasn't sure where to post this but I just walked past the theater and it looks like they're starting the load in!

I saw the broadway production for the third time last week and Yana Perrault was in Noral Schell's track (she's out on leave). I also think a few swings have been on since opening and John Cardozo was on for Antonio Cipriano this past weekend.

Any upcoming absences? I would love to see Laurel as Mary Jane!

Schell is still out? I saw the show in December and she wasn't there either. She's pretty straightforward about her mental illness...hope she is doing all right.

Yana is going on for Celia (Frankie) tonight! I won't be there but I'm excited to hear how she is. Antonio is also out from the show tonight and both shows tomorrow, John Cardozo will go on. Apparently Jane Bruce has been in rehearsals for MJ so that might be coming up soon

Sad to hear Nora Schell is still out. She's been out for almost a month now. Wish I could be there to see Yana's debut as Frankie, I'm sure she'll kill it. Looks like all four swings might be on tonight then.

Nora is on a medical leave. Yeman is not on tonight so 3 out of the 4 with Kelsey making her pharmacist/therapist Broadway debut and Zach back in John's track.

I think Nora Schell is permanently out of the show. Playbill has Yana Perrault listed as the "replacement" in her ensemble track...

I LOVE Laurel! She was a phenomenal Elphaba, such a powerful voice and stage presence. She would be incredible as MJ.

 

I also want to see Ezra as Jo SO badly.

she posted on Instagram that she is returning soon. no date set, but I am looking forward to seeing her back

I think Union rules require a person to be taken out after a certain amount of time away from a show.

This reminds me of when Rodney Hicks was out on leave from Come From Away. Josh Breckenridge was filling in and when it was announced Rodney couldn't return, a replacement was found. Equity rules has it that an understudy can only go on for for so long, even with a medical exemption.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this anywhere, but they just announced there's a new member joining. Not sure if its ensemble or a swing. 

For the life of me I can't remember her name.

Her name is Deanne Stewart! Pretty sure she's gonna be a swing. She's making her debut on Tuesday!!
