Well, I notice that our best shows of 2013 lists are beginning. It strikes me as a trifle premature, considering there are several weeks left to this year. I'll hold off until then to contribute mine.
I'll jump the gun myself on the worst lists, since maybe by listing them now, I can somehow exorcise these painful memories! I certainly hope so, but somehow, I kind of doubt it. This kind pain is long lasting!
Anyhow, though I sat through some real humdingers this year, one stands apart for its relentlessly screeching, offensive, obnoxious, horrific awfulness: Bad Jews.
The rest, in no particular order:
Fun Home
Mr. Burns
The Flick
Belleville
And Away We Go
The Watson Intelligence
What's It All About?
The Lying Lesson
Three Kinds of Exile
Small Engine Repair
Clive
Nobody Loves You
The Model Apartment
All in the Timing
A Bed and a Chair
Murder Ballad

LOL
"I'll hold off until then to contribute mine."
You mean contribute the ONE thing you liked all year?
Jordan, I guess that After Death has blocked us all so he can't see all the threads we've made.

Oh come on now, you hated way more than that.
It isn't really premature to list your best of 2013 if you're not seeing any new between now and the end of the year. Also, if you are seeing additional new things, why can you know those won't be among the worst?
