I saw Rent yesterday. (anyone notice I'm now posting on every Rent thread I can find???) Drew Lachey is a terrible actor. And not that great of a singer. Ruining Mark. His costume didn't change any, but Mark was very dull.

Who's seen Justin Johnston as Angel? Does anyone have a problem with his portrayal? I think he's too masculine.

When I saw Rent last month - August 7th to be exact - Mel was wearing the blue pants... Either way, Krystal was wearing them yesterday, so they're def. back.

RENTingfame, I think you have it backwards. Mel B wore the black pants for all her perfs. Krystal always wears blue. (I saw the show Thursday night, and it was still true)!

Hmm. I guess I could be confused. But if anyone had asked me I think I would have said she wore blue too. Still, Krystal was better. Of the 4 cast changes I saw, I liked her better as Mimi and Destan better as Collins, but Jai and Matt better from the first time I saw it.

Sorry that I'm not shutting up, but I'm just happy to finally have found people to talk to about Rent.

LittleFish....you can catch a glimpse of him in his Mark costume on Broadway.com in photo ops. They covered his opening night and the pictures are up.
