not big on spamalot, i can listen to like the first minute of a track and its hilarious but when it just...keeps...going i wanna kill it. "i'm all alone" is redeaming though as are sara's songs
Favorite - Piazza
Least - Bee
The best is Piazza. There is no bad obcr of any of the best musicals this year, but if I had to pick I'd be Spamalot. Simply because there are some unnescessary parts (like the Tuning and the Intermission).
Fav- Piazza , DRS
Least- Bee

Fav: Piazza or Bee
Least fav: Spam (Sara shines like a diamond in the ruff though)
Favorite: Piazza (followed ever so closely by Bee, but of course Piazza is the fave)
Least favorite: Spamalot. Every time I attempt to listen to it, I turn it off. Who needs to hear those simple lyrics and simpler music, neither of which are clever and original? Not me.

Hmmm... what seems to be the problem with Bee? Just curious.

What's the problem with Spamalot? I love it.
I just said my opinion of it:

I liked the OBC but it paled in comparisson to the wonderful array of excellent OBCs this year. In any other year, Spam would have been near the top of my list.
Fave: DRS
Least Spamalot
Fave: Piazza
Least fave: DRS -I'd rather listen to Full Monty :0)
Best: Piazza (although DRS entertains me - though I like TFM betteR)
Worst: Haven't heard it yet, but I'd say BEE (as I don't like the music)...
Bee's score is much better on disc than it is in the theatre (although it's still great when performed live). I think people should have a second listen if they haven't already.

I think I only enjoy Bee because I've seen it...it may be one of those kinds of shows. I mean, Six Languages is only funny to me because I remember what was happening on stage.
Perhaps.
Yeah, I guess you're right now that I think about it.
And I think it helps if you've seen it first and then listened to the cast recording.
"Six Languages" doesn't really benefit by just listening to it. The staging for it (and all the numbers) are quite fun.

Bee's songs kinda fall on their faces a bit without staging. I think I would have been completely at sea a couple times if I didn't have someone with me explaining some stuff as we listened.
