These make my list
1. Wicked: Kristen and Idina together with a little bit of Norbert/Joel Grey. This was one of the best recordings I have ever listened too.
2. The Last 5 Years: I am not sure what was more beautiful on this, his or her voice which is strange because I really always lean towards one character. LOVED LOVED IT.
3. Rent (OBC and Movie Recording): Pascal, Menzel, Martin, Rapp...all together and add some Tracy Thoms. Amazing recordings both of them. Look forward to listening to it for another 10 Years.
4. The Wedding Singer - This was a huge surprise to me how much I loved this album. I play it at least twice a day, very catchy and comon SPANGER AND FINNLEY. Its bound to be a hit.
5. See What I Wanna See: This was an amazing recording. Very clean and precise. And by god, the performers were all marvelous galour.
Thats my top 5. I have others that I love, but these are in my obsessed column.

The Light In The Piazza OCR
Ragtime OBCR

The Last 5 Years- I don't think there is a more perfect cd in existence.
tick, tick... BOOM!
Lippa's The Wild Party- I literally cannot skip any song on this cd.
See What I Wanna See- Just... wow.
I just realized those are all off-Broadway shows. Weird.
Id say the Avenue Q Soundtrack.
I love the wicked soundtrack too but i always skip some of them.
HAIR, Actors'Fund recording
Aida
Great American Trailer Park
Little Shop (original Off Broadway, NOT the recent one)
Note for note, the best singing all around on the above mentioned.

Les Miz (London & Symphonic)
Passion (London)
West Side Story
The only two recordings I can honestly say that I never skip songs from are Sweeney and L5Y. As much as I love Wedding Singer, I do skip songs sometimes.
Well, actuallly, tha't snot true anymore. I used to skip songs. Ever since I actually saw it onstage I don't anymore. But that's not merely based on the recording, so it doesn't count.
Even the RENT OBCR I skip most of the voicemails, in SWIWS I skip most of the second act, and I never cared for "Real Life" from TTB. Lippas TWP only has a few stand-out songs so I find myself skipping rhough more often than not skipping. Wicked I usually skip about half of it, especially Act 1 (and as much as I hate to say it I always skip both "A Sentimental Man" and "Wonderful"...I just don't like the songs).
But the most IMperfect recording, in my eyes, is probably Spelling Bee. In fact, I think I've just reverted to skipping through the whole thing at this point.
Everything Sondheim, with the exception of the Into the Woods revival, which is painful to the ears.
Also, ALL of LaChiusa's work, some specific highlights being:
-Marie Christine
-The Wild Party
-Hello Again
-See What I Wanna See
Bernarda Alba and First Lady Suite are on there way to joining that list for me too.
Additional P. Cast Recordings are:
-Elegies (Finn)
-Witches of Eastwick
-Zombie Prom
-Jesus Christ Superstar (w/ Alice Cooper)
-Baby OBC
-Grind OBC
-Hedwig and the Angry Inch (OOBC and Movie)
-March of the Falsettos (OOBC)
-Falsettoland (OOBC)
-Myths and Hymns
-Only Heaven
Caroline, or Change. I listen straight through.
Aida (OBC)
Les Miz (OBC)
Rent (OBC) would be ok, but i don't like listening to the voicemails. Other than that i like it.

Rent
Cabaret (revival)
Kiss of the Spider Woman (obc)
Sunday in the Park With George (obc)
Assassins (revival)
Ragtime
Sweeney Todd (any recording)
Drowsy Chaperone
Otherwise I must skip like at least one song.
They are CAST RECORDINGS, Mark E. Not soundtracks!
Jeez ..Why do people keep doing that? Is it on purpose of just ignorance? You'd think people involved in theatre would know the difference between a play and a movie.
There are some soundtracks that are better than the cast albums. Evita. JC Superstar. Grease. Sound of Music. Carousel. King and I.
I just got the cast recording of Wedding Singer. I can see why it would be cheezy on stage but as a recording it's very entertaining.
I tottaly forgot these:
Avenue Q
Wicked (I dont skip a song on it. The score is not perfect in anyway but I dont hate any of the songs enough to skip them)
My Fair Lady
Last 5 Years
DRS
the past 5 years
the woman in white
ragtime
jesus christ superstar
hairspray
fosse (not sure if it counts)
and not hello, dolly! aaahh
When I was on my Wicked kick a few years ago, I probably would've listed that (even though I skip Something Bad everytime.. I cannot stand that song). But now I would have to say Tick, Tick.. BOOM. I LOOOVE that soundtrack more than anything. If I had to skip one song on that recording it would be Real Life, but I usually don't. Avenue Q is great too.
The Last Five Years and The Light In The Piazza, really. Not the most original response, but certainly the truest. XD

I cant believe I forgot to mention See What I Wanna See!! It's one of those ones that if you dont know the story the music isn't quite as interesting, but once you get an idea of the story it is UNBELIEVABLE, with a KILLER cast- and idina's never sounded better :P
The Last 5 Years and tick, tick...BOOM! OOBCs immediately come to mind.

ok, I think I just need to go and get Last Five Years already. lol. I've heard SO much about it and for some reason I just havn't gotten it yet! It's okay, I was the same way with Wicked and Bright Lights, Big City haha. And I'm addicted to them now :P
