Due for release on 14 November 2011.
Region 2
Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera is a worldwide entertainment phenomenon. It has been staged in 145 cities across 27 countries and its box office sales eclipse Avatar, Titanic and Star Wars. Seen by over 130 million people, the stage show has never been available to own on DVD or Blu-ray. Until now.
To celebrate its 25th Anniversary year, Cameron Mackintosh presents The Phantom Of The Opera in a fully-staged, lavish production, set in the sumptuous Victorian splendour of the Royal Albert Hall. Phantom Of The Opera At The Albert Hall stars Ramin Karimloo as 'The Phantom' and Sierra Boggess as 'Christine'. They are joined by Barry James as 'Monsieur Firmin', Gareth Snook as 'Monsieur André', Liz Robertson as 'Madame Giry', Wynne Evans as 'Piangi' and a supporting cast and orchestra of over 200, plus some very special guest appearances.
This is a spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime staging of the world's biggest musical, and a must-have on DVD and Blu-ray for fans everywhere

I just checked it AND the link (which I copied and pasted) from Ramin's fan Facebook page, and it looks like they took it down...

Posted: 9/5/11 at 5:58pmI don't think this'll mean anything to the Americans, but having the "Go Compare" man in this is not a good sign! (Wynne Evans stars on a series of the most annoying adverts of all time in the UK, as a fat Italian Opera singer...)

Posted: 9/5/11 at 6:15pmmusicalfan3, you're an idiot. Wynne Evans is a world-renowned operatic tenor who has worked with the world's top opera companies. In addition to this, of course, he makes a few hundred thousand by appearing on TV every night - a bit richer than the average opera singer. If he's not perfect for this, no-one is.

Posted: 9/5/11 at 6:35pmSorry ClapYo'Hands, I didn't mean to offend, and I am by no means an opera expert, and have no knowledge of Mr Evans' career. I'm just speaking as a member of the general public, for whom, to the majority, Wynne Evans is that "annoying man off those annoying adverts". So, once again, I didn't mean to offend, and I'm sure Mr Evans is a very talented man, and perhaps my wording was a little strong. I was just speaking from my limited knowledge of the man, and from the point of view of the majority of people who will see the concert, knowing Mr Evans as Mr Go Compare. I'm sure that Mr Evans has proved himself worthy of the role to be cast in the concert. I apologise from the bottom of my heart, and promise you that I try not to be an idiot: I am just a fan of musical theatre with a limited knowledge of opera and its stars.
