PIPPIN Rush - what time do you have to be on line by to get a ticket?

They had a rush ticket for the matinee this Wednesday that late?! Darn, I went by and did not even bother to try getting a ticket, I went directly to TKTS thinking that it's impossible to get a rush ticket. But the show was worth the money though. I guess now that summer is over, weekdays are probably less crazy.

rjm516, yes, Pippin has been on TKTS recently. However, I'm not sure if it is a common listing. I can tell you what I saw though. I was there Wednesday and it was on TKTS for 40% off for the matinee and 30% off for the night-time show - I walked back to check the board in the afternoon. I was in Times Square again today, and saw that it was on TKTS again for the matinee, 40% off. (As for pricing, I bought it for 40% off on Wednesday, and paid $90 total for my ticket. The seat was in center mezzanine, row H, view was great.) So it seems that it has been showing up at TKTS quite often lately, but goes for different amounts of discount depending on sales. Hope that helped a bit, and hope you get a ticket next Sunday.

No way to predict with TKTS. It varies totally from day to day. I got a TKTS ticket a week and a half ago. It was the very last row orchestra right about halfway into the row. The Music Box is a small theater so even in the last row the view was terrific. The rush tickets are as I understand it, 12 on the far sides orchestra first few rows and 8 in boxes. You will miss some stuff especially in some of the box seats but then you are only paying $37.

FYI, in terms of Patina's last show, there's still a ton of seats in the mezz. available. The orchestra is nearly sold-out.
