Posted: 1/31/05 at 9:37pmYa, ALW wants everyone to experience what you do on Broadway...so he didn't cut any sets/special fx/etc. This is why the POTO tour always opens on Wednesdays.

Posted: 1/31/05 at 9:48pmLOL. I think the chandelir (sp?) ruined the ceiling of the historic Allen Theatre in Cleveland. I saw The Producers there and there were two wholes in the ceiling. If I remember correctly, that is where/how the chandelir was rigged.

the chandelier hasnt done anything to sheas here in buffalo the 2 times its been here... this theater is invincible!
i think the only difference between the touring show and the broadway show is that it falls much slower...

Oh No! thats definatly not good
I saw POTO...I dont remember when, I think it was July...and I thought it was really good. I nearly cried upon entering the theatre, though, because the swing played the phantom that day. But it was AMAZING! My parents said they felt like some of teh music was piped in, which I didn't hear, and they felt like some of the people in Masquarade were dummys, but I didnt notice that either. I HEART POTO!
I saw the movie last night, and if I could drive, I would be there again right now. It was soo good! At first I didnt really like Emmy, I thought she could have been more expressive in "Think of Me", but on the candenza...woah! and even though the phantom didnt sing very well, I didnt find it that bad. The worst part was sitting front row and my sister making me take her to the bathroom during "All I Ask Of You" *tears*
I HEART POTO...did I mention that?

it may not be the best movie ever made. yeah, the storyline could have been improved, but the special effects were amazing.
