I'm going for time number 10 tomorrow night with about 5 "newbies"...I feel like a tour guide now.

And I'm utterly amazed at how many folks do not connect old Raoul and young Raoul. I mean, the auctioneer says "sold to the Vicomte de Chagney" when the music box is sold...then the story goes back in time and we have the managers introducing their new patron "the Vicomte de Chagney".

All the flashforwards are very telling, too. It's OBVIOUSLY Raoul thinking back on the story.

i saw it the day it opened, and then the day after. Zepka and I had a long discussion about whether we should go again the next day. I think he decided not to, but I gave in...and DEFINITELY feelin like a tour guide now too! ha

wow... and i thought patrick was amazing too... if not the strongest singer of the 3 leads (i know, i know... but it IS true)



jwei, its cuz i was planning on going with a few fam members, but they pulled out... so i went myself to see unfortunate events... but i still went the day after to see it the 2nd time

unfortunate events. haven't seen it. Did you like it? My little bro wanted me to go with him, cuz he's a big lemony snickett (sp) fan...

^Are you joking? Patrick WAS the strongest lead. Raoul isn't that demanding of a role, but honestly, patrick's voice is incredible. He is such a great performer!
