As I said, I wasn't in the City that day and wasn't paying close attention to what the AQI was (just that there was a smoke day happening in NYC).
I also just looked and it looks like the AQI has been dropping all morning. I believe when I wrote my initial question, it was around 120 and now it's down to 90! I haven't been following the news about how things are supposed to trend, so I thought it might still be increasing today!
AQI was higher than 400 that day. This week on Thursday and Friday it has been between 140-170, she performed both days. It's dropping to moderate-normal levels today.

Whoah! Didn't realize it was that bad! That's crazy!
Anyways, Jodie went on this afternoon and she was every bit as phenomenal as promised. It is rare for me to love a show and performance as much as I did while leaving as drained as I did. It was thrilling, and heartbreaking, and depressing, and draining, but it was also probably the fastest 100 minutes I've ever experienced on Broadway (and I was crammed into a rear mezz seat). Absolutely incredible and so important.
