Are the songs "Follie! Delirio vano è questo!" and "A Fine Romance" sung live, or are recordings of those songs played during those moments in the show?

I've wondered the same thing when listening to the cast recording. I'm pretty sure that they are both the same as on the Original Australian cast recording.

They use prerecordings for those 2 sequences in the show.
