Posted: 7/8/11 at 12:16pmI said this on the other thread - if this is shilling and not just troll, then it's the weirdest effing shilling I've ever seen.

Posted: 7/8/11 at 12:20pmNow wait a minute, newintown, I've seen the show twice and I have no connection to it at all. Why do you think you have to be involved with the show to like it?
PROTEST THE MAGDALENE#28
Posted: 7/8/11 at 12:21pmAurelia, it's your impression that the OP likes the show?
PROTEST THE MAGDALENE#29
Posted: 7/8/11 at 12:28pmNo, I was responding to newintown's suggestion that only a shill would say anything good about the Magdalene. I love to support new musicals and this is one I am really getting behind.

Aurelia, that's not what I said and you know it.
And, seeing your recent join date, it's a slight possibility that you are either phelps under another name or her co-worker. That would explain your senseless remark.
But it doesn't take a genius to read the press, listen to the word of mouth, and even judge the show based on its marketing - it sounds simply unbearable. But I acknowledge that even the worst crap on stage has its admirers.

Wow back at you, doll, for twisting my words in the first place. I never said anything remotely like "only a shill would say anything good about the Magdalene." Those are your words alone. I said phelps couldn't sell the show on its own merits and is resorting to an amateurish viral ploy instead..
There really are far too many shills and interns here...

Posted: 7/8/11 at 12:35pmI was all excited about participating in the group protest and demonstration but then I realized I have a colonic that day! Darn...
PROTEST THE MAGDALENE#34
Posted: 7/8/11 at 12:50pmAlright, truce, newintown. All I'm trying to say is that I'm probably the only person here who actually saw the show and I liked it.
PROTEST THE MAGDALENE#35
Posted: 7/8/11 at 1:11pmI'm still trying to figure out where in the Bible it mentions about employing homosexuals. I'll have to keep that in mind when going on job interviews.

Aurelia2. You disgust me.
Despicable.
You can not join BWW and publicly promote the show you are on the pay roll for. Because if anyone posts their enjoyment for a show and are new, and obviously work for it.
Horrid.

kphelps319,
Get a life.
uncageg,
No doubt kphelps319 and his/her pals seek out the "homosexuals" for some wild orgies.

I ask that you refer to my signature:
We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
And I do believe in the Bible. Did you hear about the recent discovery of its missing first page?
Archeologists near Mount Sinai have discovered what is believed to be the missing page from the Bible. The page is currently being carbon-dated in Bonne. If genuine, it is the missing first page of the Bible, however the page has been universally condemned by church leaders.
It reads as follows:
"To my darling Candy. All characters portrayed within this book are fictitous and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental."

Posted: 7/8/11 at 2:45pmAnd once again someone starts a thread but is too much of a cowaard to participate in it. I think Jesus would have participated had he started a thread.

Let me try addressing this a different way since the last thread didn't work.
When did being a Christian mean not actually reading the Bible and just going along with what everyone else told you is true? Your complaints about the musical in the other thread were not based in the actual text of the Bible. They were based in the common mis-telling designed to keep women barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen. If you find the passage that says Mary Magdalene is a whore, please feel free to slap it on a sign and dance naked in front of the theater.
Being liberal means not condemning someone because they have a different belief or opinion than you. No one is attacking Christianity with the profundity you claim they are. That's paranoia from people who are afraid of losing power if they actually encourage Christians to approach modern issues with an open mind.

Haha - love it

Posted: 7/8/11 at 5:27pmLegallyBroadway2, I have a feeling we're going to meet and fall in love someday. I joined because I wanted to show my support for new musicals and especially for Magdalene after seeing it. Don't hate.

I joined to share my excitement over the LuPone revival of "Gypsy."
The fact that I'm really Boyd Gaines shouldn't make any difference.

Posted: 7/8/11 at 9:10pmaurelia, i'm pretty sure legallybroadway was being sarcastic and mocking the idea that just because you're new and liked the show, you're a shill
