I have met with a lot of hostility on this message board for my Christian faith. I have found out that theater is a place that is welcoming to sinners but not the SAVED and that there is no room for GOD here. If ANYONE OUT THERE is on my side, now is your chance to show it.
My church group is organizing a protest to speak out against the false doctrine of the musical, The Magdalene (for leading Christians astray, for slander of OUR LORD and for employing homosexuals). All Believers, please show your support and join us on the day which is TBA (I will announce on this message board as I am hesitant to include my email address here given the harassment I've had to endure).
And those of you who will undoubtedly say that a protest is uncalled for must know that desperate times call for desperate measures. We can NOT continue to turn the other cheek when our religion is under attack from every corner of our country.

I believe in Satan. I assume you welcome me as a believer. Or do you have a very limited notion of what it means to believe?
"...and for employing homosexuals".
So did your group personally find out who is gay in this production or are they, as usual, just figuring there are gay actors because it's theater?
I guess you haven't read these boards. I don't think this was the place to post about your protest and I doubt you will have anyone from these boards joining you.
Here we go...

Piss off if you protest it you will only be met 10 fold by those of us who love this art form and the freedom it allows us to tell stories the way we want to.
Sock Puppet....that's all that's going on here.

I've seen Magdalene and I've debated with kphelps317 before. He'll shut up eventually.
The original post is clearly meant to be some kind of joke, but it's just not particularly amusing, merely stupid.
Go away. You are not going to find anyone on here to support your cause.

If the magdalene had been about bashing muslims you would all be rushing to protest, wouldn't you? Being "liberal" means being supportive of every religion but Christianity it seems. When did Jesus Christ become the bad guy? Where did this country go wrong? I really expected to find more wholesome people on a message board about musicals! Does NO ONE here believe in the BIBLE?
I miss the more creative trolls.
I believe in alot of things, especially that you are a sock puppet.
I think you'd be better served protesting Priscilla. It's glorification of an aberrant lifestyle is surely more of a threat to the core foundation of your faith.
Hasn't it been proven that cross dressing leads to earthquakes and other natural disasters?
Of course it has! Just Pat Robertson.
Go censorship!!
I believe the Bible exists, particularly in the drawers of hotel room nightstands.
I believe that Jesus has his own planet.
We've already told you once. We're not telling you again. But just to be clear, on the off-chance Westboro is actually planning to make trouble for a show that isn't doing very well at all, know that you will only increase their ticket sales and the chances of a counter-protest.
Wait. This isn't performance art?
Cuase I'm waiting for kphelps to pour a can of Hershey's syrup on her Pussy.
Also, it's clear to anyone with any understanding of the teachings of Jesus Christ that every hateful word you've posted is inspired by Satan.
And I mean that with all sincerity.
newintown- AWESOME
I agree with Reginald. Why all the hatred and judging of Jesus loves everyone? Hypocricy? That is something I have no patience for.
kphelps319, do you herald from Ohio by any chance?
One thing I have no tolerance for is that kphelps has not listed in her profile her favorite performers or shows! We must know what this holier than thou Sock puppet think is good!!!
phelps is clearly some silly little marketing intern working on the show; she thinks she has a sense of humor and is using it to draw interest to what sounds like a ridiculous flop along the lines of The Ark; it's a show that can't be sold on its merits, because it possesses none.
With any luck, she'll soon drift into some other line of work (waitressing?), get married, pop out young'uns, and lose all interest in theatre.
I wonder when this person is going to start raving about how it's the Mexicans fault a la "crazy Christian lady in a coffee shop"...
Newintown, you're most likely right.
Either way, it's inspired by Satan . . .
