Im pretty surprised its taken so long to come out on DVD in the states, we had the show on TV much later here in the UK and its been out for about a month on DVD here

Television rights are different out of the US which is why you see complete seasons released on DVD in England, Australia, etc., sometimes years before they are released in the US. Numerous full seasons of older shows are already available outside of the US (like CYBILL), but they have yet to become available in the US.

Bryan Fuller created this, "Dead Like Me," "Wonderfalls" and also was behind some of the best stuff for the first season of "Heroes." Of all those listed, "Wonderfalls" is still my favorite, but I think "Pushing Daisies" could "grow" (heh heh) into my favorite when it gets its groove in the second season. I'm so very thankful that ABC seems to be the network that allows shows that are not quite the norm (Ugly Betty, Dirty Sexy Money etc.) flourish and give them time to turn into hits.

Oh, and just because I love to show off, I'm friends with Bryan Fuller. That is all.

Bought my DVD today after reading it was released this week in Entertainment Weekly. My roommate stumbled upon some episodes on my DVR when she was home one day and is now a fan. Can't wait for the new season!

this show is one of the cutest out there i'm so happy it's finally out!
and i love the decision to cast a lot of actors with theatre history

It is the best show since "Friends". Crossing my fingers for Cheno at the Emmys'!

I agree with both Janki and winter_sky, Friends was really the last show I was "into"...but Pushing Daisies has become my new favorite...it's so unique and innovative, not to mention, original...

I bought my copy, just haven't watched it yet...anyone seen it yet? Does it have any good extras?
