Why is it so hard to track down a copy of the movie soundtrack to purchase? The one with Frank Sinatra and Rita Hayworth and Kim Novak (dubbed)? Am I just trying the wrong places? I did see it might be available on Apple Music but if you can only get it on streaming, I'd rather watch the movie.
Do you want to download or a physical copy. Amazon seems to have both.

The Amazon listing for the "Pal Joey" motion picture soundtrack is very misleading. When you click on the link to stream it takes you to a different recording of the score which is labelled "Original Broadway Cast 1950-51" which seems to be a bootleg version of either the Columbia or Capitol 1952 recordings.
It seems that the Sinatra soundtracks released under his Capitol Records contract of which Cole Porter's High Society and Can-Can are also a part of are out of print.
The Can-Can soundtrack CD available on Amazon is an imported bootleg manufactured by a company listed as Hallmark UK and is not an official release.
The High Society streaming versions on both Apple Music and Amazon are also bootlegs of inferior quality.
It's really a shame they are not readily available anymore as official releases, I suspect there must be some rights issues involved.

Songs from Babes in Arms and On Your Toes were added to the movie version of Pal Joey. They don't belong in the Pal Joey score.

LOL, it wasn't your fault...it was very misleading. Amazing listings are a hot mess anyway. They need to clean up that sight. It's a nightmare trying to navigate it to get the exact product that you want to purchase.
