Per Patrick’s Instagram, he fully ruptured his Achilles tendon and so it’s a no-go for daily performance. However, it appears he will be in for the two performances surrounding the filming of the show on 2/28 and 3/1.
Boykin will do the rest of the planned run.

Assuming he’ll be performing in the boot? I’m sure they’ll be able to do some camera magic to make it disappear, shooting him only from the waist up.
As JCM would say, “Crate!!”

Walking is possible it’s just painful. He’ll obviously be injected with numbing meds on his foot so he’ll be able to perform as usual. Had he broken his foot, it would be a totally different scenario.
But would he be able to go down the stairs and keep pace on the turn tables? Like... the concern of performing isn't just pain, if anything the numbing meds would do more to give him a false sense of security and destroy his healing process so far. They should just let Phillip do the recording, I'm sorry.
I’m sure that they are meticulously planning workarounds to allow him to move about the stage with as little pain as possible.
There isn’t much to heal in terms of a total tear of the Achilles tendon without surgery. The maximum damage has been done. So the best they can do is likely design a cast that works with the costume and/or can be hidden on camera, change blocking, and load the foot up with cortisone injections for now to stabilize it
