Does anyone know when there will be an official announcement about Patty Duke in the San Francisco production of Wicked?

And there's nothing wrong with the Hollywood Collectors Show as I went to it this past weekend (in Hollywood) and spent my Valentine's Day meeting Carrie Fisher and Pee Wee Herman.
I don't think it gets much better than that.
Patty Duke was there last year and she was all over the place. lol

Posted: 2/18/09 at 9:23amAnd Lord, it's not like her heyday was last year or something. There was a lot of life between that Oscar and this production of Wicked, including a CRAZY tv movie based on her book where she played herself as an adult.

Is Patty playing both Galinda and Elphaba? Or maybe they will call in Hayley Mills and they will switch roles.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Posted: 3/2/09 at 6:53pmI'd definitely see WICKED on Broadway if Patty Duke joins. I just adore her. Her performance in VALLEY OF THE DOLLS is my all time favorite indulgent, fantastic, over-the-top performance. And of course THE MIRACLE WORKER is one of my favorite movies. She's great.
