How does one pronounce "Houdyshell"?
Howdy (like the old West) and shell (like a seashell)
I'm impressed this thread stayed up the whole time.
I was close, I thought it was Hoe-dee-shell.
So last night was Patty's opening night. I'm anxious to hear if anybody went. I know her husband Mike was there. I read that son Sean Astin was going to go but not sure when.
I got my ticket for the show in August... can't wait
You do realize she is in the San Francisco company, right?
Yes... I think the OP changed that in the thread title at some point.
Here's a cute interview with Duke just prior to starting...

I really enjoyed reading this part about Carol Kane...
"Carol's been wonderful. We're doing this system of trailing, or tracking, where you follow very close behind the person you're replacing during a performance. She's got me by the hand, leading me around and showing me all the secret places where you can peek out to see the show. By the time the show was over, we were like two silly old ladies, giggling away."

So I guess the broadway revival of TELL ME, DARLING is on hold until she finishes her run in Wicked?
LMAO... as we last left Neely screaming in the alley.
It's funny how they used the old Playhouse Theater for those VALLEY OF THE DOLLS scenes. It's where THE MIRACL WORKER played.

So will Patty Duke be officially reviewed in WICKED?
Any pictures of Ms. Duke in her Madame Morrible Costumes?
I'm sure there'll be pics & reviews.
Nice little career montage Brody

Why are there no pictures of Patty Duke as Madame Morrible?
I can understand if she has not been reviewed yet, but not one picture?
I was happy to here some early buzz and it's all good. Patty seems to be having a grand ole time playing Madame Morrible and
some pics are posted on here...

I've always liked Patty Duke and wish her well.
Phyllis, I REMEMBER that crazy ass TV movie! I always get a kick out of celebrities playing themselves. I loved the Ann Jillian movie, and I'll never forget the deliciously awful Joan and Melissa Rivers story.
I've heard she may be bringing her Morrible east this fall...
I wouldn't be shocked if she did. I'd also like to see Marilyn Caskey bring her Morrible to Broadway.
Patty
I love how the pictures on her official website are screencaps from a bootleg.

Actually, the screencaps are from a news story ABC did on her in "Wicked."
Does anyone have a larger version of the pic of her on the official wicked website?
also, if you do, are there any decent size ones of Caskey?
For bigger pictures look around venue sites & reviews. Is it sad that my favorite people on the second tour are Marilyn (Morrible) & Tom McGowan (Wizard)?
Here's the link to the ABC News story the screencaps came from...

And there's another pic on the 2nd page in the WICKED San Fran Gallery...

You must be the guy that I talked too on IMDB.
Nope... I haven't posted on IMDB. It was probably her fan club president. I'm just a Duke fan... and I have a ticket for WICKED in San Francisco this summer
He said that he was the maintainer for her site.
He could be a she... there's a couple of people who do the website.
