So Jeff any truth to what some people are saying that Patty Duke will be heading to Broadway's Wicked?
Also are the SF newspapers going to review Patty Duke's performance?

I have no clue about reviews. I hope there will be some.
She's still got 5 more months in San Francisco so I'm sure nothing is even being discussed about Broadway yet.

I saw Wicked in SF on Tuesday 5/26. Patty was out, but Fiama Fricano was on. She was a wonderful Morrible. However, no one has touched the sheer evil of Alma Cuervo. No one seems to shriek during Morrible's proclamation against Elphaba the way Cuervo did. Cuervo was scary.
Vicky Noon was on for Teal. She is a stellar Elphaba. Truly exceptional. Kendra is perfection as always.

It has been announced on Patty Duke's official fan facebook page that she will be staying in Wicked SF though February.
I would love to see her take the role to Broadway after that.

Cuervo is amazing! I saw her as Madame Morrible in Boston (and happened to run into her at a CVS near the theater, haha). I've also seen her as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. Anyone know what she is up to? I know I'm probably going to get negative responses from this, but I'd like to see her Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia.

Considering she flubs quite frequently, I don't think that's a good idea.

There were no flubs when I saw her last week. She did an excellent job. I was also happy to hear her singing better than ever
PS: She was a 'doll' at the SD, happily greeting fans.
< Patty Duke & meeeee at the SD in San Francisco after a performance of WICKED.

So FlyingMonkey1223 and jeffrey1dog since you both seem to have inside info, maybe you can tell me now that Patty Duke has renewed her contract, when and if she will take a vacation?
I want to see her as Madame Morrible so I do not want to make reservations and find out that she is out for that week.
Any help would be great.

I know that Jeff, the question was when is her vacation?
FlyingMonkey1223 already answered the question. But maybe you know when her next one is?

Posted: 8/30/09 at 9:48pmI doubt she has her next one planned since she is not even back from her first one. I think you'll be safe unless she calls out, like she did when I was there. She was out for 2 days.
