His whole thing now is based on the "inside" information he gets from people desperate for publicity/advancement. Where's he gonna get that on Broadway?
That said, he actually does feature a surprisingly large amount of Broadway info on his blog already. Granted, it's all Playbill rehashes, but still.

Isn't his site pretty accurate in terms of the rumors he posts?
I don't read his blog but if he included Broadway gossip, you can bet I'd flock to read it, no matter how vicious and trashy it would seem. As much as I despise Michael Riedel, I do read his columns on a weekly basis for the dish.

Wow, he's not? Cause Perez reported it "First" and "EXCLUSIVELY" then when people tried to talk smack and say he WASN'T dead, Perez told them that he WAS and the Cubans were lying about it! Even after they printed pictures of Fidel ALIVE with that days paper in his hand, Perez knew somehow those sneaky Cubans were lying. THAT is a courageous journalist! Perez still KNOWS that Fidel Castro is dead and some day the whole world will see it his way.
And I am SURE his Broadway reporting will be JUST AS ACCURATE!

so much hatred for the man. Look I don't care personally but I find him entertaining. It is fun to read all about it.
And really.... is there no one one this board who has not gossiped EVER? If you have never gossiped in your entire life-- i would really like to meet you..
Most people are pissed cause he has no talent except gossip and he makes a mint on it.
