The parade is in three weeks! Who is performing? And which shows?

I already know that Kristin Chenoweth is singing "Oklahoma!" on a float to celebrate the state's centennial. But that's all.

You make it sound like Wicked has performed every year. They only performed they're first year and now this one.

FYI: Last years had ASU, Good Vibrations, Bombay Dreams(which was great) among others. o and brooke in WT

I'm very serious....read it somewhere (can't remember). Megan and Shoshana will be performing the most overplayed song in musical theater.

Hahaha the song is good in the theatre, but after learning that EVERY High School in ny used it a graudation, its like "You're the Top."

I wish there was another ensemble number for the RENT cast to sing (if theyre performing at all). Seasons of Love is a gorgeous song, but I mean...give it a rest.

Maybe 'Love Heals'? (An equally splendid song, IMO)

I would love if they would do Love Heals, but I'm sure it'll be Seasons of Love once again.
I think they should just throw everybody off, though, and sing the most random, underplayed song they can think of (I know- they could do a melody of all of the voice mails and tune ups)!

I'm not serious about the second part of this post (since I know it's hard to tell sarcasm online)... but it still would be amusing just seeing everybody going- "what the hell? what about a lesbian and fish" (that what my mother said when she first heard my Rent cast recording).

I found it very helpful, too! Originally there wasn't going to be a matinee of Spelling Bee that Wednesday. The fact that there is now is VERY helpful as I work with my options.

I don't get why the cast isn't doing Love Heals while promoting the film. I love SOL, but it's gettin' a little old. But it might be better to not have some cast members have to do live solos, I guess. Just a thought.

everything for the parade is on a track, so no one would be doing anything live(in terms of singing).

I swear Im the only one who wants to strangle myself during Love Heals. It reminds me of an American Idol recording.

Id be nice to see the Rent cast sing Finale B or something. WHile I agree SOL seems to be the only ensemble thing everyone could sing together and at times can be over played, I think Finale B could also work, and it would be something different.

Every school in my town is now singing For Good. It's even worse because Stephen Schwartz lives in my town and people have been like, "Oh my gahhh what if he comes to the show?!" Sorry bud, he's got better things to do. Sorry, threadjack, it's just been bothering me, lol.

Anyway, I hope that if RENT performs they do Love Heals, I'm quite sick of Seasons of Love lol.

If you get a replay of THE TODAY SHOW on NBC there in Australia ( we get it here in Manila), you might see parts of the parade and the Herald Square presentations.
