Peter & The Starcatcher aiming for winter broadway debut

There's choreography, but it's very stylized and contained. It's more coordinated movement (except for the line during the mermaid song) than large scale dancing though. I'm thinking about the moving bushes and the 'human hallway,' but the NYTW stage is none too large itself, so I don't think it'd have a problem on any Broadway stage.

That's completely false.

While PETER... is very much moving forward with plans to come to Broadway at the beginning of next year, the Booth is in no way part of the equation, nor has it ever been.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Every time I see this thread my heart leaps and my mind prays for any official word. I so desperately want this show to transfer. I don't give a flying fairy as to what Broadway house it goes to, as long as it gets there (preferably sooner, rather than later)! And, I also want the entire ensemble to reprise their roles. Especially Carson Elrod. (Though I don't know how realistic my desire for an entire ensemble reprise is.) I swear, if I ever had any money to spare, I would invest it in this beautiful, beautiful creation.

Oh, and I just finished reading Peter and the Starcatchers. As much as I enjoyed it, I found it a bit disappointing. I almost wish I had read it before I saw the play. Rick Elice, you are a flippin' genius.

This is good news! Maybe Borle and Borat will still be able to do it.

Borat is going to make a really interesting Peter. Sexy time, no?
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
