Posted: 2/14/06 at 8:33pmI have seen it many times, in both spots. From Row N and back of the orchestra there is partial view, and in the mezz you can see everything! It just depends on what you like! Enjoy the show! Updated On: 2/15/06 at 08:33 PM

I've seen it many times in the Mezz and twice from the orch. I love it from the Mezz personally, but if you really like to be close then the orchestra is the way to go. Sit third row perferably, so the chandelier can fall right above your head.
The Mezz is also good because you can see the Phantom on top of the stage, something you can't do in the orch. So it is just your preference.

Posted: 2/14/06 at 8:37pmWell, I saw it Orchestra Center (direct center of the area) row F, and I had no problem seeing the Phantom on top of the stage...The chandelier didn't fall above me, but right in front of me. I didn't mind that. It was still cool. I thought it was a perfect seat.

Posted: 2/14/06 at 8:41pmI prefer the mezz. The times I sat in the orchestra, I was so far back that I was still under the mezz, and I didn't like not being able to see when the Phantom is on top of the stage. Unless you can get seats far enough forward to be out from under the balcony, go for the mezz.

Posted: 2/14/06 at 8:43pmDoes the majestic have box seats? Also what do you recommend to do in order to get great seats at cheap prices. I want to take my friend to see the show and experience the show, but we're ona budget?

Posted: 2/14/06 at 8:46pmi've seen it from both mezz and orch...tough call...if you like to see facial expressions, then go for your seats in orch...but as a whole, i would pick the mezz so you can see EVERYTHING that happens!

For cheap seats in advance, I usually order through Broadway Box.
For a first time, I'd recommend Orchestra from E to about J. Ahead of E and you're so close that you end up couting sequins on costumes or playing Spot-The-Microphone. Behind J and you get under the mezz...which means you miss some things that take place above the stage.
Unless you really want to be under the chandelier when it rises and falls, front mezzanine is also excellent because you can see the "whole" picture.
Try to get the center of either, but avoid extreme right. Slightly to the left isn't bad at all.

I was in row J of the orchestra, and I loved it! Especially with the chandelier...it's very cool.
