I also suggest that you pass on the current U.S. Phantom tour, as it pales in comparison to the original Broadway and London productions. If you really want to see The Prom, the advice to do so while it's still running is valid, as it likely won't have a long life, while Phantom undoubtedly will go on for many more years. That said, I do strongly encourage you to see Phantom on Broadway with the current leads (Ben Crawford and Kaley Ann Voorhees), as they are unparalleled in the show's more recent history.
