Is that Cody Green in those production shots? Why would they use his photos? If not...then he and John Arthur Greene look very similar.

Half of those pictures are of the original company.

Jeremy looks PERFECT! finnaly a Tony that doesn't look like a child predator! But Matt? Yeesh...

Jeremy Jordan does look just a little ethnic...but, oh well! He's fantastic!

Did anyone see Jeremy this past week who could share some thoughts?

as i mentioned in the other thread, i really think it's important to show them without their shirts on. matthew hydzyk looked terrible. like soft, pudgy dad body. if for nothing else, cavanaugh was atleast great eye candy with toned arms in a tanktop.

will need to see jeremy without a shirt to truly judge his performance.

oh - the singing... right, i forgot we're supposed to take that into account too! i'll pay attention to that next time i go.

I'm a huge Jeremy fan and saw him on his first night. All I can say is wow, that boy can sing and act. I'm looking forward to him getting more and more into the role as time goes on. His best vocals were definitely on Maria. I have to go back soon to see him with Josefina as she was on vacation his first week so I saw Jeremy with Haley.

Don't know anything about Jeremy Jordan, but based on those pics, he looks absolutely perfect for Josefina. They look the same age and I feel I could really buy them as a pair of young lovers. Maybe it's time to re-visit WEST SIDE STORY...during the matinees.

Maybe it's time to re-visit WEST SIDE STORY...during the matinees.

If you're going to a matinee to see Jordan, you'd better make it a Sunday matinee, since that's the only one he does. He does Wednesday EVENINGS and Sunday matinees, FYI...

I think he looks age appropriate for the role. I haven't heard the best things about his performance, but he certainly doesn't look like he could be Maria's father. He looks fine.

Ljay, I definitely agree. By no means does he look "too old," especially when he is replacing Matt Cavenaugh who never looked as young as Josefina.
Still, I think Jordan looks even more age appropriate. What are people's opinions of him in the role?

How does he look too old? Some of you people really make me wonder.

in those publicity stills, especially in profile with the light shining down on him, he looks like he has a receding hairline.
