I have to admit, they do look good. I'm a total sucker for the late 50's/early 60's era in design (as proven by my house), so it doesn't take much to impress me.

Still not sold on Zac as Link, though. He still looks like a 12-year-old girl in boy-drag.

These look AMAZING. Although, I must say I was disappointed, I thought for a moment it was a video clip.

And I agree about Zac, he dosen't seem to have enough presence. But we'll just have to wait and see.

Cute pictures!

I haven't seen Hairspray, I just love the CD. Question: Does Penny always have a lollipop in her hand in the musical or something? I noticed Amanda Bynes was holding one in a few of those pictures, thought it was odd...

Looks a bit understated for my taste. I know thats what they are going for, but to me cant compare to the visually spectacular stage version.

In the original 1988 Waters film, Penney is always sucking on those fireball jawbreakers (the hot ones). In the stage musical, she is always chewing gum.

I am so excited! I wasnervious about Amanda as Penny because i always thought Lacey Charbert would make a better fit. But Amanda looks amazing and very fit for the role!
