Amy probably only performed on smaller stages...not live, in the Kodak on TV lol. I think they both did a great job. Doing what they just did is no easy thing.

We all know that Kristin jas a "non-operatic" voice which would have served her better tonight. But I wonder if she's been using it more often to prepare for the Met in 2010. Just a thought.

Just as a note...I had no idea that Lois Maxwell died in the past year.

That little boy is probably going to end up as the next Flounder or Michael Banks. Maybe the girl from August Rush's Raise it Up will show up as Nala or Jane Banks!

Yes but any great singer can sing in any style they want whenever they want. People do operas and can still belt everyday of their life is they want or use their pop sound and still maintain their operatic quality. I think it was a style choice on her part to sound different from the original and it fell flat...but I still love her.

Oh that is sooo going to bug me for the rest of the night. He was in the movie so it would make sense that he perform for the Oscars as well. I don't know if it's the angle or if it's because his hair isn't showing but I just can't tell for sure! I'm such a bad PQ fan! lol
