The choice may have been mistaken, The choosing was not...

These look great, but is there no Drape makeover for Allison?

There are more photos from the press offices and if I can figure out how to post them...I will!

Wow. Me likes the Jim Snyder. Does he have an extended scene sans pants like Johnny did in the movie? That'd be incentive for me to see it.

This has probably been asked a million times... but are any of the original Cry Baby songs in the musical?

This looks like a blast.

Cry Baby has been in the back of my mind for awhile but these photots have made me very excited, I can't wait to see it!
You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor

"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

Mateo- None of the songs from the movie are in the show. They are all original.

The pictures look great!
And is it just me, or does Elizabeth Stanley look like she could be playing Clara in The Light Piazza in some of those photos? (The dresses, the "plastic head band"... same time period too, if I recall correctly)

re: Photos : Cry-Baby (from La Jolla)

I'm sorry, but the woman playing Allison looks way too old. Hopefully she'll look younger on stage. Cry-Baby's hair also looks weird, too contemporary or something. It should be more slicked back.

Regardless, I'm really looking forward to seeing this. I love the movie. Sad that none of the movie songs are in the show though.

P.S. - 24601. Love the shout-out to all the musical theater geeks who will get the reference.

Cry-baby's hair looks like he just stepped of the set of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers...
