Piazza- is it going to be on TV or not?

It looks as though Piazza will not be airing at any point in time in my area.... on SOME TV schedules. I've found information that makes it sound as though it's going to be broadcasted everywhere, some that says it will only be on certain versions of PBS (ARE there different versions? It looks like it, but that doesn't make sense) and my local paper TV guide says nothing about it. Is there any reliable source of information about this show? PBS and my cable company are giving me different answers.

If it's only going to be available to people in certain (re: NYC) areas, please direct me to the ****ing moron who made that decision so I can rip his/her eyes out. Thank you.

You've definitely checked the PBS listings for your zip code?

I do really hope that it's on where you are, though. In the event that it isn't, perhaps you could have someone tape the broadcast and send it to you?

I live in the Midwest.

Nevermind. I'll just have to deal with it. God, this honestly makes me want to kill someone. (It pisses me off enough to bring me out of exile; which is more or less the same....)

If I had known I wasn't going to get it on TV, I could have seen it three days ago. Great. ****ing great.

It's cool -- I had similar worries a week ago when I was trying to figure out whether it would be on in my area. Do you know the call letters of your local PBS station? If so, you can google it and find their site, and (on ours at least) there's a huge PDF file that has the schedule for the month. It does take some digging, though. Good luck finding it.

And you should post more often!

In some areas (ex. Seattle) it's not airing until the 18th of July so the lists you may have been looking at might not have had that date yet as most stations don't announce it until 2 weeks in advance. Just a glimer of hope for some of you

I dont trust that PBS website. I just looked and it said my station will be airing "Broadway: The Golden Age" at that time on Thursday, but the guide on my television and my DVR say "Piazza," so I trust that over the website...

I already have it set to record on my DVR. It says Live From Lincoln Center and inside the info it says "The Light in the Piazza" and gives a synopsis.

It's playing in Chicago (WTTW) on Sunday, 6/18, at 2:30 p.m. If you can't find your station through the PBS site, try going to your local station's site and checking their schedule listings—that might be easier.

Otherwise, PM me and I'll see what I can do.
