If it is playing here in Alabama, it has to be playing where you are, unless you're in some remote part of Iowa.

Nope, not in a remote part of Iowa... for those of you who are getting it, what channel is it on? I have like... two versions of PBS and neither of them have it.

God. I HATE living in a cultureless vaccumm almost as much as I hate trying to spell vaccuum. We're not even getting "Broadway: The Golden Age". It's some random stupid show I've never heard of.

I had to email my local PBS station and the responded within the day to tell me when it was playing, and they were happy to have such a response to the program. So, I would suggest that to anyone who can't find it. Here they're playing it on the 18th at 2:30pm. Wow I guess it's not so LIVE after all

Obviously, as is usual with PBS, different times in different places.

Beverly Sills scheduled to host it...as she does with other Live from Lincoln Center telecasts.

Thank goodness I live close enough to DC for my parents to tape it for me. I'll be working at Epcot on Thursday so I won't be able to watch it "live", unfortunately.

I caution everyone: that PBS site says it isn't airing here, but the info on my cable/ DVR thing says it is.. so beware.

The PBS website says it's airing in New York on WNET (that's channel 13) at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 AND at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17! So if you miss it, you can catch it again!

I didn't see it listed on the 15th for my station either, but then I searched for "Live from Lincoln Center" and found that it's playing on Sunday, the 18th at 8:00 p.m.

Maybe try that.

Ugh! Here in Chicago they are playing it late (the 18th) and don't seem to be playing it the PBS HD station. Was actually looking forward to this in widescreen on the big LCD screen, but no.... it'll be pixilated looking and non-widescreen.... Sad.
