That's a pretty strong list.
I'd have KISS ME, KATE on mine.
Replace Little Shop with Ragtime.
I almost feel like this one would be tougher for me to choose than new productions.
^^me too. Which is really sad when you think about it.
My Top 10(in random order)
Assassins
A Chorus Line
Sweeney Todd
Company
Ragtime
Gypsy
Hair
South Pacific
Big River
Nine
NOTE: edited to include Big River.
I totally agree, luvtheEmcee. Here's my list, anyway, in no particular order:
1. Sweeney Todd
2. Gypsy (Patti LuPone)
3. Hair
4. Sunday in the Park With George
5. Ragtime
6. Company
7. Finian's Rainbow
8. Nine
9. Assassins
10. South Pacific
Runner-ups: A Chorus Line, Man of La Mancha, Kiss Me, Kate! (though I think that one opened in late 1999?)
Also I totally took your comment as being about yourself haha...it's definitely harder for me to choose as well because I've fallen in love with many of my favorite shows through the revivals and there have been some truly amazing ones this decade.

Well, I wasn't staying it so much as a comment on the state of the art as I was on myself. I've loved more revivals lately. I guess I would say (assuming we're only dealing with musicals) not really in order, with the exception of the first one, which may be forever unbeatable for me.
Company
Hair
Sunday in the Park With George
Ragtime
Sweeney Todd
Gypsy (Patti)
South Pacific
Finian's Rainbow
Oklahoma!
And then either Kiss Me, Kate or Man of La Mancha.
HAIR takes the cake for me, without a doubt.
RAGTIME, LITTLE SHOP, GYPSY (Patti), and COMPANY are also at the top of my list.
I feel like none of the other revivals this decade really should be mentioned in the same breath with ASSASSINS so I will just leave it at that, though SWEENEY and GYPSY had their good points.

In no particular order:
Assassins
Gypsy (Bernadette Peters)
Finian's Rainbow
Ragtime
South Pacific
Company
42nd Street (for Christine Ebersole alone)
Nine
Fiddler On The Roof
Hair
Big River
So, that's eleven, but oh well.
I loved 42nd STREET. I thought it was totally unabashed fun and Broadway glitz...but it worked. I also liked the last revival of FIDDLER a lot.
Ooh I forgot about 42nd Street, I loved that revival!
I saw the Fiddler revival with 2 different casts and while I thought it was aesthetically really lovely, the 2nd cast (with Harvey Fierstein and Andrea Martin) was far and away better than the first. The first cast, to me, felt very...not Jewish, for lack of a better word, and it took away from the production as a whole.
And yes...the revival of Kiss Me, Kate opening in November of 1999.
In chronological order:
42nd Street (2001)
Flower Drum Song (2002)
Nine (2003)
Gypsy (2003 - Bernadette Peters)
Wonderful Town (2003)
Assassins (2004)
Pacific Overtures (2004)
A Chorus Line (2006)
South Pacific (200
West Side Story (2009)
