ARG!!! When are they going to announce casting already?
Anyone, anyone??
re: Pirate Queen#1
Posted: 12/12/05 at 1:41pmI assume they'll announce the casting as soon as they cast the show.

Understood, but they said in their press release,in October, that casting was "currently underway". How long can it take?
I'm just super anxious that's all. With all the people on this board, someone's got to know something.

Posted: 12/12/05 at 1:48pmIf someone posts casting, without a link, nobody is going to believe them anyways. Most people on here tend to wait to announce things until the press releases come out, to avoid rumor overload and angry posts.

Honestly...That's really never stopped anyone before. I, for one, like speculation.

re: Pirate Queen#6
Posted: 12/12/05 at 2:08pmIs this show going to work with Boublil and Schonberg writing a score with a blend of "pop, rock, musical theatre, and Irish music"? I have faith, but I'm interested to hear how it turns out. I can't believe we're looking at Spring 2007.
re: Pirate Queen#7
Posted: 12/12/05 at 2:54pmIt opens in Chicago in less than a year. October 3, 2006, and closes Chitown around Thanksgiving. How long usually until a show reopens on Broadway after previews?

Sounds interesting!
"Group tickets went on sale Thursday. Individual tickets will be available in February. Casting for the show is under way, and producers will announce stars by the end of the year."
That article is from Nov 4th so I guess we'll know soon.

Seeing aegeusrocks' avatar in the "but no one in L.A. knows sh*t about theatre" thread just now made me look up this thread again.
End of the year has come and gone... *shrug* Oh well. Guess you can't believe everything you read.
