Playbills

A couple of weeks ago, my sister and I went to go watch Cinderella. We didn't go stage dooring and my sister somehow managed to lose our playbills in the cab.
We want to go stagedooring while we're still in New York, so is there any way we can ask for a playbill or anything if we go back to the theater? I don't think we'll be able to afford to go to the performance again just to get 2 playbills and we're leaving in a week. Any ideas on how to get the Cinderella playbills?
By the way: (We can't buy anything off of ebay or any online sites)

Sometimes you can just ask in the lobby. I'd stop by the box office (but not within an hour of curtain) and simply explain what you explained here -- that you saw the show and left them in the cab.
They might help you out.

Posted: 7/14/13 at 6:43amNope. I have only had a problem once, and an usher told me that you can't just walk in- As I was walking back out! But did not try to stop me. if you would be nervous about it, then I would just enter the theatre when everyone is leaving- blend in with the crowd and go get a playbill- you won't look odd. I myself go up and down the aisles collecting playbills whenever I am leaving a show and normally end up with 10 or 20 playbills LOL.

I would explain the situation as politely as possible to the person at the box office. They often have Playbills there. If they give them to you, thank them profusely.
Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

They were very nice and accommodating and happily gave me an extra Playbill. Good luck!
