What are some plays for early 20somethings? Do you have an ideas?

You mean plays that 20somethings could perform? Like at a college? Or plays that 20somethings might enjoy watching?

Are you trying to tie it a specific theme or idea or just to appeal to young people?

Definitely go for something nice and light. Shakespeare did some comedies, have you tried Titus Andronicus?

I think the answer to your question is most plays.

Shakespeare has written some delightful comedies, but Titus is certainly not one of them. Might I suggest Much Ado About Nothing or Two Gentleman of Verona? They are two of my personal favorites, if you are heading in the Shakespearian direction.

Though please don't discount Shakespeare's histories and tragedies. Titus Andronicus is a wonderful play, but it is indeed a tragedy. Of his tragedies, I love Othello, "The Scottish Play", and Cymbeline. My favorite history of his is Henry IV Part I.

Sorry, I will clarify.

Plays for 20-somethings to perform. Age appropriate.

Big cast? Small cast? Daring and esoteric? Safe and broad? The first thing that comes to mind is The Flick but I don't even know if it's available.

Do you really think Glenbuck didn't know that?   REALLY?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Maybe Neil LaBute's The Shape of Things?
