i think some people are confused - this is for title songs (ie a song in the show that is the same as the title of the show) not opening numbers. or just reeling off favourite shows.

worst; i've always hated the phaaaaaaaaaaaantumoftheopehra is theeeeeere. but i'm not a fan of the show full stop
i always felt like Hairspray's title song was a nice bit of kitschy pastiche, certainly not a standout song but a good bit of deliberately bad theme tune writing. i'm looking forward to hearing the new one too.
