jacob, quite a few logos have the "dressing room lights" scheme.
I love the simplicity of it. SOOOO beautiful and haunting.
I like the window card better, but I still love this.
Last one. LOVE this one!!
For some reason, I really like the Les Mis revival marquee. Even though the blue is more appropriate for the show, the orange and red logos are just more warm and open.
I love the year of magical thinking marquee. Its so beautiful
Ditto..
Love the Magical Thinking marquee.
Oh and **BUMP**

Works fine for me... try doing a right-click and open link in new window. It's Miss Saigon at the Broadway.
Anyhow, for A Chorus Line at the Schoenfeld: "Dedicated to anyone who has ever danced in a chorus or marched in step... anywhere." Very clean cutout of the musical's title.

Les Miserables at Broadway theatre. It looks much different then the broadway theatre currently does because they switched the facad. When Les Miserables started to play there they were building an office building that almost strattled the theatre. they changed the facad so that it would look well with the new office building.
And the lights in from that say broadway theatre are the same kind of lights that are flashing that say winter garden on the winter garden theatre. that was how a lot of theatres on broadway used to have their marquees.

Ooohhh, the French flag!
On the other hand, Judi Dench's leg, anyone?
Kinda blurry, but it's the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles during the 3rd national tour of Les Mis' 2004 engagement.

Anyone have any of the new West End marquees? Like "39 Steps) or "Jersey Boys" - I love looking at the West End ones.
The Les Mis picture at the Broadway Theater is fantastic! Thanks for posting that!
I was going through the other posts. The theatres in London all look amazing.

Seriously. I've said it numerous times, but Broadway needs to get its act together in terms of theaters. I don't get why they don't wise up and realize that the reason why the Court sucks is because its marquee is hidden. I forget it was even there until I actually took notice. It's just a steel box hidden among other advertisements. They need to make everything just...prettier? Bring the Glitz back!
Whoever came up with the idea of putting the title in white text on her white skin as a background was an idiot.
