Postdating Sunset Blvd

Question:  Hearing rumors that Nicole Scherzinger is leaving Sunset Blvd July 6 so I'm thinking of getting tickets.  If I pick up tickets now and she ends up extending and that's not her final show, are you allowed to post date?  How does that work?  I've never done that before.  Thanks in advance.

It's all a bit unclear about what the plans are.  I've heard them saying a few times that the show is playing "now through July" - so July 6th might not only be Nicole's last night, but also their closing night.  But I suppose it depends on whether they decide to extend and try to find a replacement or not, or if the show gets a lot of nominations for awards and that starts to drive audiences/ticket prices up again, perhaps they might do a short-extension (to make sure the show recoups its investment).  I would think it's still too early to purchase tickets and in terms of refunds I don't think seat geek is flexible in terms of that.  You would be able to "resell" them through their website, but I don't think you could get a full refund yourself.

In my experience, past dating with SeatGeek is an absolute nightmare. You should call them first to ask if it would be possible for your situation.
