But of course it is! That's precisely the problem...when it happens to "our" people, it's a tragedy. But what happens everyday all over the world?

My prayers are with all the familes. Especially to my cousin's husband who was on the underground when the bombs went off; but made it out alive by the grace of God.

Thoughts are with victims across the world, today London's victims were, unfortunately, highlighted. There is no need to get into an argument over symantics. Nobody here (I hope) is a proponent of bigotry and terrorism, and thus feels for victims in New York, London, Iraq and any other country affected.
I was also very teary hearing the Mayor's defiance. It was spoken so elloquently and really drove the point home. We will not let them win.

Love, prayers, and positive energy to all of those in the UK and all of those around the globe who bear witness to tragedy and violence as a result of this war...
when you grow up surrounded
by willful ignorance
you have to believe
mercy has its own country
and that it's round and borderless

The scenes from where we are yesturday were horrific. However although this is a tragedy with lives lost we need to move on and makesure these vile terrorists don't win - they will never win. They are savage and un-human people who all deserve to be blown up themselves - not innocent civilans.
London and indeed New York will remain long past these dispicable people have died (and lets all hope that is soon)
