I've heard the demo CD, and the songs are terrific. I am eagerly awaiting the show. Don't you love the logo?

It's stopping at 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle before heading to Broadway, so I'll give you all a review when I see it. It's really great, apparently.

Susan Egan talked about Princesses at her Joe's Pub concert back in November. I don't really know anything about it though. It sounded good from how she described it. I think David Zippel wrote the lyrics? correct me if i'm wrong....

I hope this show gets the Broadway theatre! I have heard amazing things about it. They would seriously pick up the Broadway season for the fall.

I will go for Susan Egan alone.

Susan Egan is not in Princesses. This is the one with Brent Barrett and all the girls.

I got front row center for Aug. 28th in Seattle so I'll write a review. From what I heard, the story deals with a father (Barret) who is visiting his daughter at her school which is putting on a show (Princesses). Score wise this allows rap/hip hop numbers for the show within a show at the school and traditional Broadway songs for the character themselves. Sounds like it could be fun.

I have been following this show since its first reading at the NAMT Festival in 2003. It is honestly an awesome show with AMAZING music and a great cast. I can't wait for it to come to New York. And for all you 20 something girls out there who know there isn't enough material for women in theatre today, this is just the opposite! There are 15 girls in the cast from 18-28, and only 2 men. Success is the best revenge!!!

I can't decide whether I want to get tickets for earlier in the run, or later when it has been tinkered with some.

Last I heard, the logo on the 5th Avenue Site is not the one that will be used for the Broadway Run.

I like the first logo that was posted a bit better.
I can't decide how interested I am in this, though.

I know that one of the girls in it sang at Wall to Wall Sondheim and had an absolutely gorgeous, powerful, crystal-clear voice.
