I hear that the planned shoe was destroyed in a warehouse fire and has to be completely rebuilt. It won't be going up for another two weeks.

I went passed tonight, took a detour on my way home, still the same though and really does not stand out, you would of thought they would of put a bus, just above the sign.
When I say stand out, I mean a bit like Wicked or Joseph.

Phantom....the last i heard theres a shoe going up there but according to wilcat it was destroyed in a fire and has had to be rebuilt....i've no doubt when its finsihed it'll stand out lol!!

I think a shoe will be naff, but a big bus with LEDs would be cool, as long as it is unleaded of course.

look carefully and you will see all the clasps where the neon will go. I think its rather tame myself and when i saw it yesterday thought maybe it was just a teaser- it isn't, so lets hope theres a bit more glitz to go up!

It is obvious it is only halfway there at present. As mama said you can see where the neon will go on the lettering, I wouldn't be surprised if there is neon outlining the marquee. There will be a big silver shoe above "PRISCILLA". That'll be it.

I walked past today, and the neon lights and bulbs surronding the marquee are in and on! It looks AMAZING and certainly catches the eye, although looks a little too much like a vegas drag bar from the outside, I do have pictures and will upload later!
