I just got tickets to see "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" for Mother's Day. My seats are in the first row, Right Orchestra. Are those not as good as the Floor Seats? I just hope that my mother will be able to see everything.
Also, how is this show?

They are great seats. The show is wonderful!
There are really no bad seats in this small theater. The floor seats are very low, and can be difficult for an older person to get into and out of. Your seats are probably preferable.
madbrian, the floor seats are the exact same as the seats in the rest of the theater. The ones you are thinking of are the lottery seats, which are benches in the front. Yes, those are low to the ground and literally a pain in the butt. Still my fav place to sit though.
lotto benches were wonderful, up close and practically IN the action, but as L pointed out, my butt was not appreciative after a while, lol!
Thank you all for your answers. I really hope I got decent seats for this show. I have not seen a good show in a while (my last show was "Little Dog Laughed!")
Those are great. You'll be fine.
Thank you, liotte! I would just hate to be looking at the actors' backs the entire time.
Where exactly are the lottery seats? I thought they were all the way on the side, but it sounds like they're not.

The lotto seats are in the front row center. But they are like on these benches low to the ground. They are great seats, since the stage is also very low to the ground.

Spelling Bee is INCREDIBLE. It's a "stadium-style" theater, like a real gym, so nothing is BAD. I got the last row on the aisle once and it was great. I could see everything.
Great, I'm actually looking forward to this show now.
