Question Regarding Liza's Grammy Nomination

The cast recording of Liza's at the Palace is one of the nominees for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Liza Minnelli has only won a Special Grammy Award - she has never won a Grammy in a competitive category. However, she does already have a Tony, Academy and Emmy Award.

If she wins the Grammy Award this year, will this then put her on the official list of people who have won all four awards? Or is this the type of award that goes to the producers of the album instead of to Liza herself?

If the award does go to her, I certainly hope she wins - she deserves to be on that list!!

I would guess it would put her on the official list. I'm pretty sure it would.

Although I'm kinda hoping Michael Buble wins. I love Liza...but I am IN love with Michael Buble. Ha. Not creepy...

That would put her on the list. If the album wins the artist wins as well. Some lists already include her due to the special Grammy she received, some don't.

I'ne never heard of any of the best new Artist nominees but I hope The Ting Tings win.

I hope Liza wins too.
