Refresh my memory: I think the livestreaming can be found right on the Tony Awards site? Anyone have an exact link?
I had a great deal of trouble getting the livestreaming to work last year and missed most of the categories - is it wise to go on precisely at 8:30 or should I try a bit earlier? Would anyone be willing to update live on here just in case the streaming doesn't work? (I gave up on the Drama Desk livestream because it kept dipping in and out so I got some names and not others and it was so irritating!)
I do wish they would make these livestreams easier and work better! Any tips on how to get it to work better for tomorrow?
Thanks in advance!

If I remember correctly, I had to wait last year for the announcements to begin, so I was able to watch the whole thing.

Usually the issues are on their end, like the Drama Desk Awards. And when the issue is on their end, there's nothing we can do to fix it.
I think last year they started a bit after 8:30.

But the results will be posted here pretty quickly...you won't have to wait long to find out.

BWW posted an article this morning that they would have a live stream. I don't have the link at hand but I'm sure you can find it on the main site or if you check their timeline.
I'm hopeful this stream will work better than the Drama Desks as it's also broadcast on CBS and NY1, so everybody who can will probably watch on TV instead of online? And since the Tony's is so much bigger they are probably better equipped and prepared, too. Fingers crossed.

Anyone remember how late it typically runs? Trying to see if I can fit in watching the stream and making my morning commute.

Once they begin, how long does it take for them to get through them? 15 minutes? 30 minutes? Just curious as I have a meeting at 9am ET, but would really like to hear (live) the nominations for Best Musical before my meeting starts.

They're normally about ten minutes or so. They usually start with all four of the leading acting categories, and then they go into the categories for Best Musical, Play, Revival, etc.

It's quick...takes approx. 12 minutes live on NY1-if in NYC, I prefer or CBS and usually starts o/a 8:35ish give or take with all nominations posted on sites by 9am...

Thanks. That's what I thought. Also, they typically do the bigger ones right away for the outlets who only cover the major categories, then move on to the other creative and design categories, right? I'm optimistic about this!
