Posted: 6/2/07 at 3:58pmWhat about in the case when the whole concept of the musical and idea to have it produced comes from someone like the composer or book writer (like Tony Kushner with Caroline)? Do the producers ever decide to give the Tony to the person whom they know was really behind the whole production? It seems sad in a way that a musical could win best musical and the person who conceived the whole idea doesn't receive the award.
