Posted: 2/28/10 at 7:35pmIf you're sitting in the orchestra, you just wait for the cast members to begin waving people down the aisles and onto the stage (this happens once they take their bows and they place railings on the stairs leading up to the stage). If you're in the mezz, there are stairs by the boxes that you can take down to the orchestra level.

Posted: 2/28/10 at 7:45pmThank you. I was seriously asking this. I thought the stage wouldn't be big enough for everyone that wanted to go up. I saw Hair a million years ago - forgot about the ending, IF they did it back then.

No where near everyone goes on stage. The few times I went, no matter how packed the stage seemed, I was always shocked how many people were still in the house!
But yes...it's fairly easy and I've never heard of ANYONE being turned away.

They don't pull the steps out. The steps are there already. They stay there to make sure no one gets hurt. The security also stand by the wings and by the orchestra so no one goes there.
All that happens is a couple of the tribe members bring on handle bars that go into the steps.
