I always liked her.

Saw her in Vegas a few years ago with Steve @ the Stardust. Even than her voice has left her but it was still fun to watch her & Steve

so sad. she had a great talent and should be a household name. she reminds me of Lea Michele. rest in peace
One of the great entertainers of the mid-century! A lady who certainly left her mark!
Oh no! We here at BWW were just discussing GOLDEN RAINBOW a couple of weeks ago and expressing our admiration for her. RIP Eydie Gorme!
Lea Michele WISHES she possessed 1/2 the talent, beauty and charisma that WAS Eydie Gorme. Please do not INSULT the memory of Miss Gorme by comparing Lea Michele to her.
This is soo sad- first Karen Black, then Regina Resnik and now Eydie Gorm'e! Really Sad week!
My favorite Eydie album. One of her first: "Eydie Swings the Blues."
Sheer brilliance.
I Gotta Right To Sing the Blues
Eileen Brennan, Karen Black, Regina Resnik and now Eydie Gormé. This needs to stop, seriously.
R.I.P. Eydie Gormé - a gigantic talent and a legendary performer.

I never knew that Eydie Gorme had been offered the role of Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl" (before it was offered to Barbra Streisand). Eydie bowed out of the show because the producers wouldn't cast Steve Lawrence as Nick Armstein. What a dame!

It can't stop. Death is part of life. Whether we like it or not. RIP Eydie.
Before I ever knew Eydie could sing in English I only ever heard her recordings in Spanish courtesy of my mother's record collection. I especially remember her recordings with Trio Los Panchos and an album she recorded with Puerto Rican singer Danny Rivera which contained the smash, "Para Decir Adios" which is such a beautiful song.

I wonder of that was her being laid to rest today at Hollywood forever , a huge group of people waiting outside the gates and part of Melrose blocked to traffic.
