Has anyone heard any rumors about which theatre the R+J revival will go in?
I think they will need a larger theatre for this. Maybe the Broadhurst?

Didnt one of the early graphics mistakenly put Circle in the Square, which was taken out later?

I don’t remember seeing Circle in the Square listed, but it’s not there now.
I would think this would warrant a bigger venue though, no?

Yes it did. I keep a spreadsheet and it has this theatre with an asterisk since they removed it.

I remember thinking about the stagedoor and how it works at the CITS theater. Unless there's another exit for them, this could be a nightmare.

Well we don't know anything about what the design will look like so not sure we can say it "warrants" a bigger venue, but I do think tickets could be hard to get considering the size.
As for stage door, the nice part about CITS is the crowds won't really be blocking the walkway, but I assume there's also a separate exit since I've stage doored shows there where not all the actors came out.

There is a way to get into CITS from the lobby of the Paramount building on W. 50th St. but you have to have employee credentials and/or a key. So technically that can be used to get people in and out without having to go through the lobby of the theater. When this production of R+J was announced a few weeks ago it did say that it was going into CITS, I know this because the folks at Wicked were having to have a conversation about how the stage door crowds from that production we're going to impact the people trying to get in and out of the Gershwin. But as stated above, it looks like it's no longer the correct venue.

Depending on when they're planning the run for this, could it be the JEJ or the Longacre? Given HoRR and Lempicka continue how they're going, those theaters could be an option
