Has anyone heard any buzz about who some of the replacements may be?
They're re-casting the roles of Tateh, Sarah, Emma Goldman, Evelyn Nesbit, The Little Boy, and The Little Girl for the Broadway run.

I"M SO EXCITED! I saw the original production, but I don't remember it very well, so I can't wait to see it again.
Is Manoel Felciano continuing with the production?

I like how many people think shows like "Jekyll & HYDE" and "SUNSET BLVD.," not to mention we can't even get a revival of EVITA, but if it's Ragtime it's OK. Can't say I was a fan of the show the first time around, but I've read the book by now and wouldn't mind seeing it...!
Which part was Jill Paice? She was in this with Ron Bohmer right?? .. Bohmer again at the Neil Simon, I imagine he's good in this? (The Scarlet Pimpernel SP 3.0!)

Ragtime is an infinitely better show than any of the ones you mentioned.

I'm pretty sure Christiane is staying with the show.
I'm curious to see who they are getting for Tateh, Sarah and Emma Goldman. Hope they are interesting choices.

Posted: 7/1/09 at 8:26pmI never saw the show considering that I was too young to actually enjoy it when it came out having only been eight at the time. But, I LOVE the music and it was a show that I have wished I could see for a while. I am very happy that this is going to start previews the day before my birthday. I think that based upon what I have heard about this production, I am not going to be disappointed in having this be my birthday gift.
