RENT Movie Soundtrack covers

Just curious - for those of you who've bought it, which cover did your RENT soundtrack have? I have Joanne, because that's all the BX had. (Otherwise I would've picked Mark.)

I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

And Starbucks will use the words 'large' and 'small', not pretentious crap like grande and tall.

I have Maureen, by default. Would anyone like to trade if they have Mark? PM me please.

I got Maureen! I got it the day it came out, my selection was of Collins, Roger, Maureen, and Angel. I wanted to get all of them but my loyalty lay to Idina.

That thread is dead now. So anyway, I got Collins. My friend got Angel, and we randomly switch now and then. We're nerds.

I picked Mark, my favorite character, and I'm keeping him - sorry.

Anthony Rapp is so adorable!

Only 3 more hours until I see the movie - yay!

A thread can never be dead unless you canNOT post on it.

I have Mark, and went to five stores to get him, got the last one. Wouldn't trade him for anything! .

I meant dead as in...lifeless. I wasn't being serious, sorry.

I have Angel, who I do love, by accident, because I asked my mom to get the cover with Idina Menzel on it, and according to her the Angel cover was the only one with a pretty girl on the front....

Well, you could post there and bring it back to life.

That's cute, greenegirl. I have to buy one for my brother; I think he wants Mark. Or, I told him he wants Mark. Since I got Roger.

I ended up with Collins. My only options were Collins or Angel.

I had wanted Mark.

I got MIMI because (I am an artist) and I thought her pose was the most unique, and Rosario Dawson is amazing looking. But I have to go because I'm seeing the movie for the second time today!!!

At the CD signing, I saw someone who had all eight.

I had gone to the store planning on diversifying my collection of memorabillia a bit. But no.

ALL of the pressings done in Canada do not come with the cardbioard slip-cases, so we only get the standard CD cover here. (At least I assume these special covers are just the cardboard sleeves...correct?)

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
