Posted: 11/23/05 at 11:26amJust curious - for those of you who've bought it, which cover did your RENT soundtrack have? I have Joanne, because that's all the BX had. (Otherwise I would've picked Mark.)

I got Maureen! I got it the day it came out, my selection was of Collins, Roger, Maureen, and Angel. I wanted to get all of them but my loyalty lay to Idina.

I picked Mark, my favorite character, and I'm keeping him - sorry. 
Anthony Rapp is so adorable!
Only 3 more hours until I see the movie - yay!

I ended up with Collins. My only options were Collins or Angel.
I had wanted Mark.

Posted: 11/23/05 at 10:02pmALL of the pressings done in Canada do not come with the cardbioard slip-cases, so we only get the standard CD cover here. (At least I assume these special covers are just the cardboard sleeves...correct?)
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
